Written for a friend going through a difficult time, WINGS is a short story by Dennis Lowery about a man named Fánaí who finds a wounded fairy named Shayleigh in a mist-shrouded forest. Shayleigh has been ostracized by her people for not growing wings, and Fánaí helps her find a way to move on from her pain and find her own sense of purpose.
