Print lead times are approximate for printing and do not factor in shipping times. Most of our orders ship via UPS Ground, which delivers to many US locations within five business days but this is subject to change depending on factors beyond our control.

Printing lead time is in addition to order processing of 1 business day after payment receipt.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We cannot hold shipment of book orders. Once they come off the print line, they are packed and shipped. Also, because of that and variations in POD production turnaround (facility volume, lead times from order to print and ship) at the time of order, we cannot be precise on delivery dates (on shipment, UPS does provide their projected delivery date).

Our production facility and freight carriers can experience delays for various reasons beyond our control. Spikes in demand, as well as any carrier shipping delays, can have an impact.

Individual copies of our titles can be ordered from bookseller websites such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, etc.

The following is important information you must read and understand before placing wholesale book orders directly with Adducent (not via Ingram).

Adducent allows organizations, libraries, and schools to purchase books at a wholesale discount of up to 50% (based on quantity and whether hardback or paperback) on the condition that payment is made at the time of order. We accept ZELLE transfers for payment or direct ACH payments via bank transfer (our invoices contain our ZELLE details and our ACH routing number and banking information). If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, you will receive an invoice via PayPal to the email provided at the time of order so you can make payment securely online. [PayPal does not require that you set up an account with them for payment to us.] That payment will include the card processing fee we are charged and must pass on. We also accept checks though that can delay the order while waiting for receipt and clearance. A $25 fee is charged for any returned check.

  • Our books are Printed On Demand (POD), meaning we only print copies when an order payment is received.
  • We do not warehouse POD titles. Therefore, generally, we do not accept returns. There are some exceptions to this for certain wholesale orders to booksellers and organizations; contact us for details.
  • Once an order is in our system, it cannot be canceled. We will replace copies that are defective or damaged during shipment.

Shipping/handling & Delivery: Our production and distribution facility uses UPS for all shipping. Customers cannot use their own shipping/freight vendor. Shipping and handling charges from our production facility are passed on at cost.

Example: if you need books on June 1st for an event you need to order with ample time and within our current production lead times and shipment transit. Understand the books might arrive before your need date. If they are going to an address, person, or organization that cannot receive the books and hold them, you must have the books shipped to you. Also, if you are ordering two or more titles (or hardback and paperback versions of a single title) the order may be broken up into different shipments as each comes off the print line and enters shipping. This does not change or increase the quoted/priced shipping cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Lead times are approximated for completion of printing from the date of order (the next business day after payment receipt). UPS Ground delivery is usually from 1 to 5 business days (for US destinations, depending on area/region, Alaska and Hawaii take longer). Seasonal timing does affect lead time, especially July and August leading into the new school year, and the holiday season November through mid-January. Going into or during these periods, please allow at least 30 business days (from our receipt of your order payment) if you need copies for a book signing or other special event.

SHIPPING OF YOUR BOOK ORDER(S)

Standard Shipping

Our default method is UPS Ground (commercial and residential), which usually delivers from 1 to 6 business days from the shipment date (for US destinations, depending on area/region, Alaska and Hawaii may take longer). Lower-cost shipping is available for small orders but takes longer, does not have tracking and shipments are not insurable. If you need lowest-cost shipping please let us know when you place the order.

Expedited Shipping

To expedite the shipping, you must request it when you place your order so we can determine that service cost. By default, all orders ship via standard shipping (see above).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING SERVICE OPTIONS ARE EMAILED UPON REQUEST.

If your order is shipping from the United States to a destination outside the United States, extra time for customs clearance and transit should be allowed. This will vary by country so you should check for your destination countries’ customs clearance and transit times. When the order ships we will send you the tracking number so that you may track your shipment. Once the order has left our production and distribution facility we are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping company, events, and or conditions beyond our control.
